How to Infuse
Ideally warm the teapot or cup by swilling a small amount of boiling water carefully around it, then dispense.
Add 1 teaspoon of herbal blend to 1 cup of boiling water, stir and then leave to infuse for 5-10 minutes.
Strain and drink either hot or cold, they may even be iced, or if desired, sweetened with honey or Agave nectar.
The medicinal value of many herbs lies chiefly in their volatile oils, the more aromatic the herb, the more volatile oil it contains. This oil will disperse into the air once the boiling water reaches it. It is best to cover teapot with a lid or place a saucer over the cup, until cool enough to drink.
