Honeybush tea is the amber nectar of teas, very low in tanin and naturally caffeine free, the leaves give off the sweetly aromatic scent of honey.

Native to South Africa & similar to Rooibos tea, although this tree only grows in the western cape region. It is obtained by drying, bruising and fermenting the needle like leaves, once fermented the leaves turn into the beautiful characteristic red colour.

This is a delicious alternative to black or green tea, a cup of honeybush delivers a healthy dose of vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants in a lightly roasted floral taste.

Ginger has been added to this blend, it offsets the natural sweetness, acts as a circulatory and digestive tonic, as well as having warming and anti-inflammatory properties.

Ginseng is an excellent adaptogenic herb improving our tolerance to physical, mental and enviromental stresses.

Calendula petals add colour and sooth the digestion, Lemongrass whilst having the fragrance of lemon is mild and sweeter, it also has a cooling effect on the stomach, assisting digestion.
